Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

Testimonial by Kenneth Bjerre – for Sports Injury Healing.   

Hi, my name is Kenneth Bjerre and I am a professional Speedway rider. I have ranked amongst the top eight riders, worldwide, for numerous years. For those of you who might not know, Speedway is a motorcycle sport, minus the use of brakes.

In the past, I have used the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy chamber (HBOT) around 15-20 times – on two separate occasions.

During the course of my racing career, I have sustained a broken right leg, in three places, in August 2012; and, more recently, I broke my collarbone in May 2014.

On both occasions, I underwent HBOT treatment twice weekly for a number of weeks, until my injuries had recovered.

I believe that it helped to speed up my recovery significantly – which is vital to my career.

HBOT treatment also made me feel fresher and clearer thinking, after each session, whilst helping to reduce pain and improve sleep quality.

I would definitely use this treatment again and recommend it to others. I have, in fact, already recommended it to fellow Speedway riders – some of them have actually tried it for themselves now.

The staff and volunteers at ‘Huntingdon, Peterborough & Cambridge M.S Therapy Centre’ are brilliant, and it’s a great facility – which I would highly recommend.
